What I do

I'm a full stack software engineer, proficient in TypeScript and Python. I love building interactive data-driven applications, backend services, and developer tools.

I primarily build user interfaces with Vue.js but am experienced in other frameworks including React, Solid.js, Svelte, Astro, and vanilla JavaScript.

I currently develop back end API's in Python using FastAPI and in Node.js using Fastify.

What I've Done

I started my career as a cartographer at Esri, building maps for journalists and large media outlets. During that time, I learned to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create custom visualizations for a variety of media clients.

After going deep on data visualization, I joined Denovium as a user interface software engineer. During this time I helped develop the Denovium Gateway, a web application that used AI models to create and explore entire genomes. The platform we developed ultimately led to our acquisition by Absci .

Today, I work at the intersection of AI and software engineering at Absci. As part of the AI engineering team, I'm focused on scaling our AI platform and building AI powered tools that expedite workflows and reveal novel insights.

What I'm interested in

I'm passionate about clean code and empathetic collaboration. I thrive in cross-functional environments and have extensive experience partnering with technical and non-technical colleagues to deliver full stack solutions at scale.
